Emblem of the Order

In the center of the emblem is the mark of Cain, as it might well have looked.
Genesis 4:10-15 (NKJV):
"And He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground. So now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand. When you till the ground, it shall no longer yield its strength to you. A fugitive and a vagabond you shall be on the earth. And Cain said to the Lord, “My punishment is greater than I can bear! Surely You have driven me out this day from the face of the ground; I shall be hidden from Your face; I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond on the earth, and it will happen that anyone who finds me will kill me. And the Lord said to him, “Therefore, whoever kills Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold.” And the Lord set a mark on Cain, lest anyone finding him should kill him."
To us this is a remembrance of the protection of God not based upon our righteousness, but upon His infinite mercy.
It resembles a man under the tent of God.
Around the mark is the Symbol of Aurum (Gold), modified with 12 rays, like on the shield of Milos.
12 is the OT and NT number of covenant.
4 for the physical. 4 elements, 4 winds, 4 corners of the Earth, Christ's life on Earth described in 4 canonical Gospels.
3 for the spiritual and eternal, as in the Trinity of God.
3+4 = 7 the number of fullness, God rested on the seventh day.
5 as in "the Five" of the Council. To us this symbolizes the five wounds of the Christ (Redemption).
It is also the four elements, with the added dimension of Spirit.
3+4+5 = 12
3 x 4 = 12 12 tribes of Israel, 12 apostles, the faithful will pass through 12 gates in to the eternal Jerusalem based on 12 stones.
